Resilience and Renewal
Holistic Support for Cancer Patients and Caregivers
The Resilience & Renewal Program provides free, holistic health services to cancer patients and their caregivers—supporting not just physical treatment, but emotional well-being throughout the journey.
This program was created through a unique partnership between the Boone County Cancer Society, The Cabin Mental Health Services, and Effie Massage, bringing together essential services to care for the whole person.
A Whole-Person Approach to Healing
Cancer impacts more than the body—it affects mental health, relationships, and daily life. The Resilience & Renewal Program is designed to meet those needs by offering:
- Professional 1:1 counseling services
- Group therapy sessions
- Therapeutic massage sessions
- Nutritional advice and consultations
- A supportive, compassionate care environment
All services are provided free of charge and take place at the Boone County Cancer Society office in Lebanon for easy access.
Mammography is the single most effective way to detect breast cancer at its earliest stage, when it is easiest to treat.
Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) is the most aggressive form of breast cancer and can be mistaken for breast infection.

Powered by Community, Inspired by Legacy
The program is funded through the Pam York Memorial Fund, established in honor of Pam York, who passed away from lymphoma in 2023. Created by her family and friends, the fund continues her legacy of compassion, generosity, and light—helping others navigate their cancer journey with support and dignity
